Dr. Gregory Lowe, Audiologist, is the only Audiologist in the Fort Wayne area with two doctorates in Audiology. Dr. Lowe has been testing hearing and fitting hearing aids in Fort Wayne for over thirty years. He uses the best hearing aids in the industry.
Dr. Lowe received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1973. His two favorite courses were Physiological Psychology and Sensation and Perception where he studied hearing in each course. Because of a strong interest in hearing, he then obtained a Master's degree in audiology from Ball State University in 1975. Dr. Lowe went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Audiology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 1979. Dr. Lowe's major professor at Purdue was David P. Goldstein, Ph.D. who taught Dr. Lowe many things regarding hearing, hearing science, hearing aids and private practice.
Dr. Lowe then moved to Fort Wayne after graduating from Purdue and has made Fort Wayne his home town for the last thirty years. Dr. Lowe obtained a second doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2001. That degree was a professional doctorate in audiology and was a very good review of hearing, hearing disorders and rehabilitation of individuals with hearing impairment. There are very few audiologists in this Country with two doctorates in audiology. Dr. Lowe's goal is to provide the best audiological care for each of his patients.
